I got a Surface Pro 4 a few days ago with the i5, 8GB Ram and 256 SSD. I'm enjoying it, the only concern I have is the battery life. From reading reviews I know the battery life isn't the best, but from a full charge with the display brightness 4 clicks down and just web surfing the battery meter goes from 100% straight to 94% after a few minutes, and within around 45 minutes of use it says 72%.
I haven't used it on the battery much more than this so I don't know how much up time I would have but it's concerning and I wonder if this sounds normal to those of you who have the Surface Pro 4 with the same specs?

Depends on what else it running. I will disable my Kaspersky, G Drive, and several other background processes when I am at school to maximize my battery life. Gets me close to four straight hours with OneNote. Background apps eating up CPU and internet heavy apps overloading your wireless tend to drain the battery quickly.

Also check the effect of further reducing the screen brightness. In my experience the backlight is the biggest source of power drain on modern notebooks under light usage conditions.

Is this normal battery life for Surface Pro 4?
