    Have you tried installing the ipw3945 firmware (assuming you're talking about the S1 in your sig and it's using the Intel 3945 b/g card)? The FC5 RPM for it can be found here. The Sourceforge page for the main project is here. Haven't tried it myself yet as I only run FC5 on a desktop. Hope you find the links helpful!

    Thanks for the help .. i installed mandriva on Acer aspire 5602 and that what it points to that link http://ipw3945.sourceforge.net/#downloads i want to install FC5 but since FC6 is gonna be released on 19th oct i guess i have to wait for that .. and try that ipw3945 rpms you pointed at .. thanks again that was very helpful

    19 October? Cool. Last I had heard was 24 October. An early release is usually good news as it means progress is going better than expected. Thanks for that bit. :)

    Edit: Gah! Knew it was too good to be true. 24 October slip, posted yesterday.
