    hello,

    ive been around the ubuntuforums but i cant seem to find a solution for widescreen settings on a nvidia go 7600 from the a8jm asus notebook.

    anyone got leads?

    Could you describe your problem more? Is your screen not displaying in native resolution?

    never mind, i went and added the custom widescreen resolution values into my xorg.conf

    I guess it's too late to mention that the linux nVidia drivers now ship with a commandline utility to update your X config? Have a look at the man page for nvidia-xconfig for details.
