Hey I just got my new XPS 1530 and installed Ubuntu on it. I am having trouble getting my nvidia 8400m gs to work. It is under the restricted drivers manager but when I click to use it it says I need to enable nvidia-glx-new. What do I do? I am new to Ubuntu and linux in general.

Open Synaptic Package Manager (System --> Administration --> Synaptic), search for the package called nvidia-glx-new and install it.

Click System --> Administration --> Software properties then enable main, universe, multiverse and restricted repositories.

After that, reload the sources and search for the package.
