The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    You already asked this question in this thread. Just searching the NBR forums shows that there's been two threads which have described running FreeBSD/Linux on a Clevo M570TU, (Sager NP5796). This thread regarding installing FreeBSD on a Clevo M570TU, and this thread describing installing Ubuntu on a Sager NP5796.

    Lastly, it's probably easier to get answers to these kinds of general questions by going to either a specific Linux distro user forum, like the Ubuntu Users forums, or a laptop specific user forum, like the NBR Sager and Clevo forum, and asking the question there.
