Did anyone tried to install freebsd on a clevo notebook? There seems to be issues with the firewire, is there a way to disable the firewire in the bios?

    Thanks!

If by that you mean Linux (or something of the sort) I think the hard part would be getting drivers for the current gpus

Not in this case, nvidia supports bsd and linux at 100%.

Unfortunately the problem in this case is really with the bios of the notebook that doesn't permit to disable the firewire.

Well, I would love to use freebsd but if its not possible to disable the firewire, its not something that would make me love less my clevo.
