This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Well I am dating an ex-model/socialite who just went back and got her degree. She has been reborn as a geek and is now seriously thinking about going to graduate school and becoming an academic.

    Anyway, she loved my eeebuntu and asked me to install Mint on her new netbook. She was so impressed that she spent all weekend distrohopping, learning to use unetbootin and gparted, etc. To top it off, she ordered me an "I'm a Linux" t-shirt. :D
