    Hello everyone!

I have a DV9420 with Vista, 2G ram, 120GX2 HDD. The drives are setup as:
    Drive 0: Vista & HP Recovery 8G
    Drive 1: Data 80G & Ubuntu

I trying to get a thumb drive to boot Ubuntu VS GRUB in the MBR.

My question.... If I perform a normal install (Grub in MBR), will it mess up the F11 to enter recovery? I think this should be in the BIOS and not code in the MBR but I'm not sure.

How did you install Linux and do you still have the F11 key to enter recovery? On what lappy?

    Thanks!!!!
