This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     dont get internet from opensuse!

    when i boot from opensuse....i dont get any internet connection....;(

    do i need to install any additional stuff/drivers for opensuse??

    cause well i dual boot with windows and when i installed opensuse it booted correctly....but now i dont get any internet connections

    also how do you get wireless?? doesnt show all it shows is this "ethn0"?

    kinda new to linux so any help would be appreciated ;)

    btw its the 11.0 and im using the KDE thingy

    its an ASUS laptop...m50vseries

    If you have a wired connection to your laptop, then just go to YaST > Network Devices > Network Settings and configure your wired card. ... although its unusual that your card was not configured automatically.

    Configuring wireless is a different kettle of fish.

    You could go to one of the openSUSE forums to get help on that. For example you could start by going thru the "stickies" here:
