This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     In Ubuntu 7.10 if I enable the propitiatory Broadcom(Broadcom 4311 card) firmware, Can Windows still use my card?

    running a repository in linux to enable the use of a device has naught to do with windows...the only problem you may find between windows and linux running is when your using vista(not sure which update tho) and you warm boot into linux...this problem occurs when devices have not been powered down and vista has not released them...

    Nice little quirk tho...rofl
