    Want to install Linux on Sony SZ670N/C, can I?

    I gave my computer to a guy I know who works with computers.
    He told me that this specific model does not have drivers supported by any linux distributions. Therefore I can install linux but it would not work very well. For example, the speakers might not work well.
    I don't even know what a driver is exactly but does anyone here know of a linux distribution driver that is made for this model.
    I am very confused but basically I would like to install an easy to use distribution such as ubuntu. Is this possible to do this on my laptop and have it integrated and with no problems?

    Ubuntu, or any other top-tier distro for that matter would work on your laptop. However, according to this link:

    Getting audio to work is difficult, and using the SZ hybrid graphics system to its full extent requires some modification.
