Has anyone else been experiencing this?

If i try to power on more than one machine at any given time vmware crashes...It's not a RAM issue cause i've only allocated 1GB to each vm and i have 4GB total. Also my 32bit vista runs multiple vms without any problems(i just run low on mem which is why i want to use ubuntu as the host). And just recently it crashed with just one vm open. I checked the md5sum on the bundle i installed and it matches. Cant figure out what's wrong...

If it helps the vms im running are xp and vista

If there was an error or whatever, it would have offered more information regarding the nature of the problem... care to share it?

no error, if there was I would have posted it. It just locks up my system. Even after I force quit the cpu is still working and the tray icon still reports 1 vm running (but it cant be clicked on so I dont know if it's accurate).

Ok forget it. I just switched over to virtualbox. It works flawlessly, just wish it performed as well as vmware...guess i have no choice now. Oh well.
