I need some help. I would like to install this Vista-look-alike Linux distribution, called Vixta.

I just burned the iso to a cd and am making this post inside a booted Vixta, off the LiveCD.

I am trying to figure out how to install it (preferably partition about 6-8GB for it) but do not know how. I have clicked a few things which require administrative privileges and a password, but I dont know what the password is. My administrator password in Vista does not work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It's very likely that since you're running off the live cd the default password is "root", that should give you the privileges needed to do whatever you need.

Thanks for replying...the password turned out to be "vixta"

I am booted back into Vista now and trying to create Vixta as a virtual machine.
