Hello, I have recently just got the Acer Iconia W700 Windows 8 tablet, the specs are in my sig. Well, I swapped out the original 64GB SSD for a more reasonable 256GB one, and want to load up Ubuntu on it. I have used Ubuntu before and I really love it - it is just not my OS of choice on my laptop/desktop because I need Windows for the majority of my gaming needs. But I don't plan to game on this tablet, just really surf the web, read manga/ebooks, watch stuff... and maybe play some Linux-enabled games from steam on the go. But the problem is, does Ubuntu work well with only a touch interface, do I have to install it in a certain way to make it work properly? If not Ubuntu, is there another version of Linux that works better with touchscreens? I am really a Linux noob and don't know much about it, but I would really want to move away from Windows into Linux on my tablet and need some help to get there. And also, is there a good manga reader available for Linux/Ubuntu? Thank you so much!
