I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 with 2 partitions on the SATA AHCI HDD, but I'm not trying to install Ubuntu, just run it off the CD.

    Knoppix and Morphix work.

Is this a hard drive-related issue? Or a BIOS one? Anyone had this problem before?

    Thanks.
