I use conky to show ram usage and I did at one point have CPU stats. I started using gnome's cpu throttling app and noticed conky reports CPU frequencies always stay at 2.8. I got rid of it and just shrugged it off. Then a while ago I noticed the system monitor shows I have used 42% of my root drive while conky reports 45%. RAM usage shows up correct.

My question is what do I trust. Is the gnome app not throttling my cpu? Is conky full of lies?
