    Hello guys°!

I am looking for drivers for the following hardware:

    1. Intel 945GM Chipset (950GMA-128)
    2. Speedtouch 330 USB Modem

I am new to Linux and downloaded the 32bit version of the latest Ubuntu setup and have no idea on how to change the resolution to 1280x800. Getting internet to work is a mystery to me too :D

PS: I have the latest BIOS (1.20) and windows media center on another partition installed (3 part. in total since linux needs two...).

    Could anyone help me please?

You can get the resolution you need by installing the package 915resolution. Go to Synaptic Package Manager (System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager), and search for it. Just install it and you should have plenty of resolution options.

As for the modem, check here: (Google helps a lot by the way):
