    Hey everyone:]

As the subject states, I can not connect my 1.5TB Western Digital External Hard drive. It runs great :)

Earlier today I transferred all my music, pix, and videos onto the hard drive. I unplugged it and set it aside for later. Now I'm finally getting back home and I plug it back into the computer and I get this error......

somebody please help :( I don't know what to do to make it recognize again! I have so much stuff on here!

The data is safe and I know it's not deleted or anything, I tested it by plugging it into my windows computer. Now I would transfer the data off onto my Windows computer, then reformat the drive but it won't fit.

So I'm stuck with this error on my Ubuntu Linux computer and I have to figure out what to do..

    plz help...

    sincerely and utterly helpless,
    TK

edit: and yes i know i posted the wrong link lol >.>

    Solve:

I plugged it into my windows computer and went into the run command and typed

It did a 3 step inspection and solved it all! I plugged it back into my ubuntu box and succeeded.

Thanks in advance for anyone who was planning on typing a 3 page response to help me out :)
