Hi, whenever I boot into Ubuntu I always need to toggle my Wifi on and off to make it move. It will get to half way and then it will stop until I toggle it. I have the Intel 3945ABG wireless card. Specs are in my sig.

are you talking about the start-up loading bar that gets stuck at around 45% ?

if so then i have the same problem with my 3945, i just wait about a minute and it boots fine. else, yes switching the wireless off and on does EDIT [sometimes] work.

    Code:
    sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces
Then comment out (by putting a # at the start of each line) every line but the first two. This should leave only the Io option left uncommented. Reboot and be happy.

it doesnt seem to be network related. there is another thread on this and i think the answer will come from that thread.... someone there seems to have highlighted the issue.
