Hey guys, I have a few quick questions about my tablet and Ubuntu 12.10. When I installed 12.10 on my X61t, most functions (surprising to me) worked out of the box. Wireless works, I got the fingerprint reader working, the Wacom display works for the most part, but does have some missing features that I hope you guys can help me out with.

For one, the eraser part of the Wacom pen doesn't do anything; it's just another pointer it seems and doesn't actually erase. I Google'd around and found some things that might be able to help me ( Wacom Serial Tablet PC Stylus - ThinkWiki and [ubuntu] Wacom tablet eraser acts like a pen - Ubuntu Forums), however I don't really know how to do any of that (it's been awhile since I've used Linux, and I've only recently used Linux to code C and that's it). It looks like I need to change some settings in the xorg.conf file to get the eraser to work, but I can't seem to find the file...

Also, right now when I rotate the display to lay it lay against the keyboard, the screen doesn't orientate itself at all; I know that under Windows it should orientate itself depending on how you hold the tablet (sort of like an iPad or Galaxy Tab). Looks like my best bet to fix this would be to use xrandr, but again I'm lost as to how to properly install that and get it to work.

If anybody can help me out, that'd be great!

--As an extra, do any of you know of any good programs that I can install that'll allow me to click on a URL bar or anything similar and write out what I want to enter? For example, I'd like to be able to handwrite "forum . notebookreview . com" into the URL bar and then have the computer recognize that and take me to the site.

    Thanks!
