    Hey guys
Sorry if this is a dumb question. Im new to linux, and im using Ubuntu 7.04. My laptop usually runs at 60 Hz refresh rate, and a native screen resolution of 1280x800. When im running Ubuntu, my screen flickers at the top of the taskbar and open windows. I would like to get rid of this flicker.
When i am running Vista on the same laptop this doesnt happen, and it didnt happen to my old Mandriva OS on the same laptop.
I dont think i can change my refresh rate to a lower setting (i have tried by going to the screen resolution settings). im not sure how to fix this problem.

EDIT: Sorry guys, i fixedthe problem. I had to enable my graphics card.
