    Safe to dual boot sabayon and vista with vista first

    I have vista installed and want to dual boot with sabayon linux but been doind reading and found people having problems dual booting vista and linux
    with vista having problems. Is it safe to dual bhoot vista and sabayon linux?

    I can tell you atleast that with ubuntu, you can install vista first, then ubuntu. After installation, grub will search for other operating systems and configure itself accordingly.
    It works just fine. :) Assuming that sabayon uses grub (???), then it should be ok. :)

    ok thanks. So no problems with shuting down etc in vista after setting up the dual boot

    Nope. :) Vista wont see grub, when you turn on your computer, grub loads, and if you select Vista, it hands off control to vista's boot loader.
