Why is the download for the SUSE 10.1 so slow? I started to download it today on my T1 connection, and it was going like 60kB/s. The torrent was a little faster, but it was still sticking around 150-200. Ubuntu downloaded at like 2MB/s on the same connection. Just wondering if it was a problem with their servers today or if it's always that way?

2MB/s on a T1? Who's your provider and why are they giving you fractional T3 speeds?
-
Have you tried FTP instead? I normally use wsftp or some other ftp program to download large files like that. It seems faster, and is less likely to wig out in the middle of your download.

Where are you? If you are in US, try tamu mirror instead, it is >300K at least.

Sorry, I meant to say 2Mb/s, not 2MB/s. I am in the US. I don't have WS_FTP on this computer, but I can get it. And I may try the tamu mirror. Where can I find that?

When you click the download, there is a mirror option.
