This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Im a poweruser but not a linux "guy". It took about 2 hours and every thing but hot docking/undocking and the fingerprintreader worked out of the box.

    ...Also still havent got a external monitor running correctly at a resoultion other than the native 1024x768.

    But this is a fantastic machine and its CRAZY fast with its Core duo 1.86.

    If your looking to get a linux lappy...I doubt you could do much better than this one.
