    Hi guys!

I'm reposting this again because no one has replied to regarding this concern before. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

    Need help on this, please...

My ASUS EEEPC notebook has been encountering this problem whenever I access the file manager. Any window I open closes when this KDE Crash handler window pops up (see attached pic.).

In the attached png file, you will see the buttons, "General" and "Backtrace". All the info in the "General" tab can be viewed in the attached image. However, in the "Backtrace" tab, you will see these commands:

Looks like there's a bug in the file manager. Have you updated lately? What changed before this started happening?

You can update it by installing eeebuntu! It's a thousand times easier to work with.

If you really want to stick with Xandros advanced, head over to eeepcuser forums. Someone there will have a fix for you.

-where can I get this eeebuntu? I read about Puppy Linux running on EEEPC, could that possibly be? I mean, Puppy Linux is just temporary, right? Thanks :)

-if I install eeebuntu, would it reformat my current eeepc running on xandros? I need to burn the downloaded eeebuntu OS a ISO image, right? Assuming after downloading and burning it as an ISO image, where can I put it, in a cd or usb? EEEPC doesn't have a cd drive :(

    - I read that installing and using eeebuntu or easy peasy (aka ubuntu eee) on a netbook boots up slower than the default Xandros Linux distro on my eeepe 4g, is this true? Or this only becomes true if they ran the standard version (desktop version) of eeebuntu or ubuntu eee and not the NBR version? Need some clarification on this please. Thanks :)
