I've been playing around on my CF-28 toughbook. After some trial and error, I got Debian 6 to boot (I was going after Debian 7). After verifying that everything worked, I did updated the sources to the wheezy list and upgraded the system. Like expected, upon reboot it did the black screen thing. I rebooted again but chose the old kernel in the grub menu and it bored just fine. Upgraded to the new 3.14.1 kernel and I don't get the black screen. However I do now have a shifted screen. Any suggestion how to get the screen back to normal? This is in terminal as I haven't tried top startx yet.
