I'm using OOo 3 but there is no spellcheck and its driving me crazy. I know there are mistakes but when I run spellcheck it says all is correct. Is there a patch or extension I can get? If so how? Thanks!

Download the US dictionary extension and run it. The openoffice extension handler should start up automatically. Alternatively, you can go to Tools -> Extension Manager -> Add... .
