Okay, so I've installed 7.04 fresh, and things are working better :)

Wireless is working much more smoothly (once I get it onto the second PC I will try WPA... oh the joy!)

However, NTFS access, while I appear to have read access I had THOUGHT that 7.04 had full read/write access to NTFS? Do I need to do something? I tried adding my user to the root group but it didn't seem to help?
