I have a lot of icons on my toolbar and I'd like to customize it even further by adding a dock with properties similar to the dock in Mac OS X. I looked at Kiba but it doesn't seem stable enough for reliable, daily use. Any suggestions?

I can't seem to add any launchers to the panel; I drag the icon over to the panel, release the mouse button, and nothing happens. I have a feeling that I've missed something really obvious.

You have to drag it to the very edge. You can't drop it on another icon.
