This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Alright. I've tried several distros (ubuntu 6.10, mint 2.1, sabayon 3.2, OpenSUSE 10.2) and none of them will allow my sound to work.

    Anyone here have any ideas?

    I currently have Sabayon Linux, but I think I understand enough that whatever you did for your distro I can apply it to mine. Thanks in advance!
