I wanted to know if i can run any linux flavor on virtual pc without any problem. So far i am running windows xp pro on it without any problem. I am thinking of doing that with linux so that i don't encounter any problem when it comes time to uninstall it.

There is no uninstall for a virtual pc! its just a file you can delete at your mercy. Fro my experience though, running linux in a vpc is not as easy as running a windows installation.
