Hi everybody, I'm completely new to Linux.
I happen to have a spare laptop to try the linux mint 7, installation was fast and painless..less questions than Windows.. :p
however, there were hundreds of update from the internet after the install. Is there anyway I can backup those updates in an easy way? cause I don't want to redownload them in case something happen.

    thanks a million..
    :D

Copy the .deb files from /var/cache/apt/archives to a new folder. Copy the .debs from this folder back to /var/cache/apt/archives on the target machine.
