Okay i have ubuntu , xubuntu, and fluxbuntu.
I have noticed that they don't have any problems installing with cd, dvd, and dvd-rw. however, they always get the problem for the cd-rw. like med5sum doesn't match in the cd as seen by the disk checker. Any reasons why?

I don't know the exact reason, but you're not alone. Several folks on Ubuntu Forum have said, "Don't use RW discs".
RW's are less reflective than R. I wonder if that's what causes the problems?
