The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Comments are closed on the "Linux Information Center" thread, So I'll make a new thread about this. Thanks to Gautam for the link.

I just wanted to post that the Linux Distribution Test is amazing, it's more like a short survey and tells you what distros best matches your needs. They even show close matches and explain why it isn't a perfect match. They ask all the right questions.

I think this is actually not just for Newbies, but can be used by people who been using Linux for awhile.

My matches are in Pic below:

Only the main forum sticky is closed, but all the guides/articles within it are OPEN for posting (except for any non-NBR links of course)

My mistake .......Can you change the Title to "Linux Distribution Test" as I thought "Linux Distribution Guide (for the Newbie)" was the same link.

    Thanks.
