    There are a few machines that have issues. As an example my Netbook with Bay Trail has issues with the 32 bit UEFI.

    Yet another reason to avoid Lenovo.

    Also, any time someone says that Linux won't work because of Microsoft, don't believe them. They're lying, ignorant or both. Because as a point of fact, Linux works on Microsoft's own signature Surface Pro and Surface Book. The very first things I did with my Surface Pro 4 were: disable UEFI secure boot, boot a Clonezilla live USB, and image the system drive. The only issue I had was the typecover which is currently not supported, but a USB keyboard worked perfectly.

    Hmm, so it won't install due to the BIOS setting of locking the SSD in what they call a proprietary RAID mode. Weird that they would enforce this setting.
