So i after a few weeks of using ubuntu on a vb i decided to install it along side of windows 7. I have a hp dv6tqe and i still need windows. However i just saw that windows has already 4 partitions:

    C:
    HP_TOOLS
    RECOVERY
    SYSTEM

They all say that they are primary partitions I know that you can't have more than 4 partitions on a hard disk. So i really don't know what to do. Should i delete hp_tools? is there a way to get around this problem?

    thanks

I made a recovery disks then deleted my recovery partitions for Linux. That's the easiest way, I think.
