Does anyone know of a good strategy game like Disciples, Galciv or Heroes for linux? I've tried Battle for Wesnoth...wow, goes back to the old Genesis 16 bit rpgs....very classic with graphics, etc....but fun nonetheless.

Secret Maryo Chronicle is competent SuperMario clone.
    Neverball is great SuperMonkeyBall-type game.
Freeciv is, well, very good civilization clone.
Fret on Fire is a solid "guitar playing" game.
Ksudoku is good for convincing people that Linux is the way to go. :D

But yeah, I like Wesnoth most.

I've found a few more good games:

    Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge
    Super Maryo
    SoulFu
    Bos Wars
    Scorched 3D

I've not played them properly yet because I've been trying out different distros ready to install the one I like the most for after I try and upgrade my CPU. I'm on Fedora Core 8 at the moment and I have to say I'm loving it!

I tried Spring and it didn't run properly at all. I found it to be a terrible experience.
