I have a sd card that needs to be formatted into two partitions. The first needs to be FAT32 and the second partition needs to be ext4 BUT with the journal feature off. Hardest part: No access to a linux machine, only windows 7.

Any ideas? My google searching attempts have been unsuccessful. I'm mostly a windows user, so my linux/ext knowledge is limited.

ext2fsd or ext2ifs might read, but the file system has to be tweaked to make it work. no idea if they'll be able to create a filesystem though. have you considered a quick and dirty wubi install w/ubuntu to make the card? easy enough to uninstall once you're done.

What I would do is get a small Linux distribution, such as Download - SystemRescueCd and put that on a CD.

    Boot off the CD
    connect the SD card
"startx" - go into GUI mode
    "gparted" - partition editor
choose the SD card, partition it the way you like and select the filesystems for each partition

Thanks for all of your suggestions. Gparted worked nicely.
