A very simple fastbooting Linux for websurfing.
    Try Splashtop, it is free.

    1. Does it make use of speedstep? The version of HP quickweb I used did not and battery ran out real quick
    2. Does it support 3g usb dongles or mini pci-e cards?
    3. Does it show you how much battery is left?

If not than I consider it useless for on the go.

It stops whenever someone wants me to jump through proprietary hoops without any apparent reason.

It's starts when I find out something new from somewhere on the web or from someone, and give it a try .. and not 3 year old things poping up again and again ..
And for linux there is something new every few days ... just have to try keeping up with it.

Just learned some basic scripting in ubuntu to download/rename/move/filter in terminal .. nothing new for ppl, just fun for me :)
And trace down bugs like why monitor doesn't go to sleep .. xwin problems .. compile some newly released sources .. temporally fun :)
Trying to find replacement for programs under ubuntu from windows ..
