I have absolutely no idea how to get the graphic drivers working. I have tired following the threads, but they are way out of my league.
Please, some help here.
Ubuntu 11.10.
Thanks in advance.

In Ubuntu there is usually a restricted drives application that will auto install the correct driver.
Without knowing what card you're working with, it's hard to say much more than that. -
First you should tell us which graphics driver you are referring to. Is it the Intel or the ATI chip? If the latter do you use radeon or fglrx?
And what does it mean you tried following the threads? Which ones? And what were the results? Please post some useful info (CLI outputs, log entries...)! -
Video Graphics= Radeon HD 6630 switchable graphics
I configured the bios for discrete graphics.
I tried installing the drivers that were displayed in the Additional Drivers Window..but to no affect. -

A quick check here seems to suggest that your model is not supported by ATI.
