    i also have the linksys wusb54g2 and have read about ndiswapper and stuff, but being a linux noob, i have no idea where to begin.

    im running fedora core 6. any insights?

    Try out a Debian based distro, like Debian or (K)Ubuntu. I can's speak much for Fedora (Red Hat based) or FreeBSD, since I have very little experience with them.

    Oh yes, DesktopBSD 1.6-RC1 is based on FreeBSD 6.2 with a ready KDE desktop, and has the driver builtin so no need for ndis..etc.
