Hi, is there any distro that supports bcm43xx out of the box?

Ubuntu's restricted driver module uses bcm43xx firmware for Broadcom cards. I also believe that Fedora Core and PCLinuxOS use bcm43xx firmware, but I am not sure.

I can confirm that Ubuntu works with this.

Yeah, Ubuntu is the way to go. It will work with the card although sometimes the management gui will report a partial or faulty connection in 7.1
8.04 is out in Beta btw. Very stable, running fine on my Compal
