This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Did I install this right?

    I had fedora 10 installed first then I installed Ubuntu. When I restarted, only vista and ubuntu were given as options. Is fedora completely gone or is it taking up some space somewhere but not able to boot anymore? Did I remove fedora properly?

    Can you look at the partitions with GParted (within Ubuntu or externally)? I mean, where did you install Ubuntu? Thanks.

    Did you mean to install Ubuntu on the Fedora partition or have you made a separate partition for Ubuntu?
