Has anyone played around with making a custom grub menu?

I saw this one on youtube and it looks pretty cool. I googled grub menus and it seems a little involved to setup.

That is BURG, I have used it and it is very nice. It makes Grub/Grub2 pretty. Easy to install and remove.

They take a pile of effort to get up and running if you try to get the fancier stuff to work. It's a really good idea to backup your boot files between each and every change because tweaking grub can be somewhat catastrophic and annoying to restore.
