Hey everyone.
I recently installed a duel-boot Linux Mint/Win XP pro on my lappy. I can't connect to my home network in Mint. I can select the network from the list, enter the password and wait. Eventually it asks me for the password again, repeat/repeat/repeat/repeat
Any help would be greatly appreciated because I mostly installed Mint to use the internet because they don't get viruses.

Ask your question on the Linux board. You don't have a hardware problem, and you'll find the Linux gurus will answer your question much faster when you post on the correct board.

Sometimes the solution is as simple as turning on SSID broadcast. BTW, the security gained from having SSID broadcast turned of is really minimal. In case that got you worried. What counts most is having a strong WPA/WPA2 key. (I.e. something better than "this is my passphrase".)

Yeah, I would open the network and see if mint connects. If it does, then its just a matter of learning how to connect to a secured network. If it doesn't then something has gone wrong with the firmware install.
