    Hello !

I have an Asus G1 with an nvidia geforce 7700. Recently I've been running Backtrack 2 on live cd. However, backtrack boots on 1024 x 768 at 85hz. My screen however, in my windows display propreties, seems to accept at a maximum rate, 60hz.

Can this damage my laptop screen, if i keep running backtrack 2 at 85hz. ??

It's prolly a driver error. Your screen must be running at 60 Hz. If it doesn't support higher refresh, then it won't display anything except an error message, if your card was refreshing at 85 Hz.

Well, it's running fine, there is no error in the display...but in the backtrack 2 display info, refresh rate is also set at 85hz...quite weird !
