    Guys,

    please help! I have Linux on my Eee 900 laptop. i tried installing Elluminate Live application. I I only see a message "java Loading" and then nothing happens.
    Is Java loaded on this machine? What is the right way of installing applications on Linux machine? Your help is greatly appreciated!!! :eek:

    I'm assuming your application is a java application because of the error condition you described, and it appears with a quick Google search, that installing or updating the java runtime on an EeePC is something others have needed to do. You can check out the following links for further reading and instructions;

    1) Upgrading Java on an EeePC
    2) How to install Java in ASUS EeePC Linux OS
    3) Java not working on ASUS eeePC

    For future reference, the EeePC users forum, from the EeePC users website, is a great place for this and other information regarding the EeePC.

    Good Luck..
