Catalyst Control Center is unable to start but apparently, the driver is/was installed . Is it because X1700 is not a supported card in Ubuntu & ATI? Without the Catalyst Control Center, i'm unable to access the options to tweak the graphics, including the Powerplay settings. Is it possible to mod the Catalyst Control Center or something? Thanks!

The restricted driver manager don't install the ati catalyst center or the nvidia control panel as far as I know. Uninstall the driver and reinstall it using envy or compiling it yourself, those methods works.
