I'm using Ubuntu andI have been trying to get .mov streams to play correctly. Sometimes, there is no video but there is sound or it doesn't work at all. I tried both watching it from the original sources and streaming it from Movie Player and mPlayer. The only way it works is that if I keep moving the window around or scrolling the page and for the players I have to move the window around or keep going back from fullscreen to window mode.

The videos are on gametrailers.com and on apple's trailer viewing site. They are also HD videos so do I need a separate H.264 codec, if there is one?

What version of Ubuntu? Also, are you running x64 or x86?
