    very annoying problem

    I recently installed the latest intel pro 2200 wireless lan driver and the moment is finished installing the on screen display function crashed. i tried rolling back the driver.. deleting the driver and re installing the old one but it doesnt work. when i delete the driver and reinstall the OSD driver, it works..

    This is very annoying.. Any suggestions to this problem is greatly appreciated..

    Denomerdano,

    I had this problem when i first got my LS50. Its not the actual drives of the Intel card but its the OSD(on Screen display) version. It never fussed me so i just used the latest one that there is.

    Have a LS50a model with 2100 Intel wireless and approach same problem. Its slightly suprizing becouse I install drivers from original CD. And Support site has same versions of drivers.

    Could somebody give any suggestions?

    Solve this idiotic situation by deleting five files and reinstalling wireless driver.

    Files to delete:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\w70n51.sys

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\w20ncpa.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\w20old.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\w70n5msg.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\w70n5old.all

    now all works, wireless and OSD. Curiously...
